Question 132981: As a returning adult student, I feel so very stupid. This is from an on line course. The linear equation is 4x-1=3x+15 I have solved the equation with x=16 and y=63. Now they are asking to solve the solution by graphing. When I do the "T" chart, my lines run parallel when they should intersect at 16.. what in the world am I doing wrong??? Thank you

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Not sure what you are trying to do. There is no y in this equation. basically it ends up being x=16. If the intention is to plot the line X=16, then you are looking at a vertical line thru (16, 0). Are you sure you worte the problem down correctly?
