You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Here's the graph of an exponential decay function. I'm using the equation y=e%5E%28-x%29

+graph%28+500%2C+500%2C+-10%2C+10%2C+-10%2C+10%2C+exp%28-x%29%29+ Graph of y=e%5E%28-x%29

Now heres the inverse. The inverse function is y=-ln%28x%29 where "ln" stands for natural log

+graph%28+500%2C+500%2C+-10%2C+10%2C+-10%2C+10%2C+-ln%28x%29%29+ Graph of y=-ln%28x%29

Notice if you graph the two equations together, you can see that one is simply a reflection of the other

+graph%28+500%2C+500%2C+-10%2C+10%2C+-10%2C+10%2Cexp%28-x%29%2C+-ln%28x%29%29+ Graph of y=e%5E%28-x%29 (red) and y=-ln%28x%29 (green)
