You can put this solution on YOUR website!
SOLUTION -
Let the present age of jack be x years
and the present age of jill be y years
According to the condition
x=2y ........(i)

After 2 years jack will be (x+2)years
9 years ago jill was (y-9)years
now according to the condition
(x+2)=4(y-9)
substituting the valu of x from equation (i) we have
2y+2=4y-36
2y-4y+2=4y-36-4y
-2y+2-2=-36-2
-2y=-38
-2y%2F-2=-38/-2}}}
y=19
substituting the value of y in equation (i) we have
x=2y
x=2*19
x=38
therefore
jack present age = 38
jill present age = 19
