You can put this solution on YOUR website!
find the domain of the following functions
f(x)=(x-4)/(x+5)
The denominator cannot be zero
So, x cannot be -5
Domain: All Real Numbers except x=-5
(-inf,-5)U(-5,inf)
--------------------------------
g(x)=square root of (5x-1)
The radicand cannot be negative.
So 5x-1 >=0
5x >=1
x >=1/5
Domain: All Real Numbers greater than or equal to 1/5
[1/5,inf)
