I think you meant: y%5E3%28y%5E3-y%29y. So if y=3, then your expression becomes:

%283%29%5E3%28%283%29%5E3-3%293=27%2827-3%293=27%2A24%2A3=1944. That is not one of the answers given, so I suspect you typed the problem incorrectly.

If it was actually supposed to be y%5E3%28y%5E3-y%29 (since putting that extra factor of y at the end would have been silly and should have been written y%5E4%28y%5E3-y%29), Then you have:
