SOLUTION: Find the sum of the infinite series. If the series does not have a sum write "no sum". The series is:
9 - 3 + 1 - 1/3 + 1/9. . .
I am not sure where I got n/3 from but see

Question 130912: Find the sum of the infinite series. If the series does not have a sum write "no sum". The series is:
9 - 3 + 1 - 1/3 + 1/9. . .
I am not sure where I got n/3 from but seem to think it has something to do with solving this.

You can put this solution on YOUR website! THE SUM OF AN INFINITE SERIERS IS:
S=A/(1-R) WHERE A=THE FIRST TERM & R=THE RATIO.
S=9/[1-(-1/3)]
S=9/(1+1/3)
S=9/(4/3)
S=9(3/4)
S=27/4
S=6.75 ANSWER.
