x^2=100/36 Isolate the variable term( get x^2 by itself)
sqrtx^2=sqrt(100/36) Take the sqrt of both sides.
x=10/6 Take the sqrt of both sides.
x=5/3 Reduce the fraction

sqrt x^2=sqrt(25/9)
x=5/3 or -5/3
