by rules of logs __ %28x-5%29%2F%28x%2B4%29=%28x-1%29%2F%28x%2B2%29

"cross" multiplying __ x^2-3x-10=x^2+3x-4 __ subtracting x^2 __ -3x-10=3x-4

adding 3x+4 __ -6=6x

substituting the value of x into the original equation results in two of the ln arguments being negative
__ since logs are not defined for negative quantities, there is no solution for this equation
