You can put this solution on YOUR website!
log(5x+1)=log(2x+3)+log2
log(5x+1)-log(2x+3)=log2
property of Logarithms
log%28+%28x%2Fy%29%29+=+log+x+-+log+y
log+%28%285x%2B1%29%2F%282x%2B3%29%29 = log+2
Take antilog of both sides to cancel the log
%28%285x%2B1%29%2F+%282x%2B3%29%29+=+2
(5x+1) = 2(2x+3)
5x + 1 = 4x +6
5x-4x = 6-1
x = 5
