You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Simplify:
%2812y-2xy-2x%5E2y%29%2F%286y-4xy-2x%5E2y%29 First, factor a 2 from both the numerator and the denominator to ease the calculations a bit.
2%286y-xy-x%5E2y%29%2F2%283y-2xy-x%5E2y%29 Cancel the 2's.
%286y-xy-x%5E2y%29%2F%283y-2xy-x%5E2y%29 Now factor the trinomial in the numerator and the trinomial in the denominator.
%282y-xy%29%283%2Bx%29%2F%28y-xy%29%283%2Bx%29 Cancel the (3+x)'s
%282y-xy%29%2F%28y-xy%29 Now factor a y from the numerator and from the denominator.
y%282-x%29%2Fy%281-x%29 Cancel the y's.
%282-x%29%2F%281-x%29 but this can also be written:
%28-%28x-2%29%29%2F%28-%28x-1%29%29 or %28x-2%29%2F%28x-1%29
