: Hi! So I am having trouble with Subsitiution. With this question is says to either solve by subsititution addition or the subtraction method.
This is what I got for the problem: m=-6 n=-9, Which was wrong.
The problem is 2m=n-3 3m=2n-9
Any help I can get for it. Very much apprecciated=) THanks! This question is from textbook algebra
You can put this solution on YOUR website! 2M=N-3 OR N=2M+3 NOW REPLACE N IN THE OTHER EQUATION BY(2M+3) & SOLVE FOR M
3M=2(2M+3)-9
3M=4M+6-9
3M-4M=-3
-M=-3
M=-3/-1
M=3 ANSWER
N=2*3+3
N=6+3
N=9 ANSWER.
PROOF:
3*3=2*9-9
9=18-9
9=9
