Question 130047: In 1,000 samples, assuming that H0 is true, how many times would you expect to commit Type I
error if (a) α = .05, (b) α = .01, and (c) α = .001.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!

In 1,000 samples, assuming that H0 is true,
how many times would you expect to commit Type I
error if (a) α = .05,

1000(.05) = 50 times

(b) α = .01,

1000(.01) = 10 times

and (c) α = .001.

1000(.001) = 1 time .
