You can put this solution on YOUR website!
LET H BE THE HEIGHT.
BASE=12+4H
AREA=BH/2
36=(12+4H)H/2
36=12H+4H^2/2
4H^2+12H=72
4H^2+12H-72=0
4(H^2+3H-18)=0
4(H+6)(H-3)=0
H-3=0
H=3 ANSWER FOR THE HEIGHT.
BASE=12+4*3
BASE=12+12=24 ANSWER FOR THE BASE.
36=24*3/2
36=72/2
36=36
