at 3pm, Elenor had driven 360mi (60mph times 6hr)
__ Alexi was 60mi behind, so he had driven 300mi (360mi-60mi)
__ he had been driving for 4hr (3pm-(9am+2hr)), so his speed was 75mph (300mi/4hr)

let x="Alexi's speed" __ rate times time equals distance

4x+60=6(60) __ 4x=300
