Question 129169: I am a bit confused about this problem. I am seeing it as a negative 4 (-4). If anyone can tell me if I have performed this expression correct please let me know, thanks!
Problem:
2(a-4)-4(-3-2a) (I am seeing a negative 4 outside of the parenthesis here on this first step, am I correct?)
Answer that I came up with:
2(a-4)-4(-3-2a)
2a-8+12+8a
2.25=a
