Question 128669This question is from textbook beginning algebra
: Please help me on this beauty of an equation. I need to complete the ordered pairs so that each is a solution of the given linear equation. Then plot each solution and graph the equation by connecting the points by a straight line. (phew!!!)
y=-2x+1 (0,?) (-2,?) (1,?)
hope this makes sense to you.. just a quick question also, Is there an online site that can help me (for free) to walk me through equations like these with step by step processes?or do I keep putting questions here in hopes I understand what I need to do. this is very frustrating for me, I have 3 weeks left of this stuff but I am very lost as it is. I wish I could get a tutor to help but lack of time and finances I need to use the internet for help. Any suggestions will be helpful and thank you for helping me on this matter.

You can put this solution on YOUR website! I need to complete the ordered pairs so that each is a solution of the given linear equation. Then plot each solution and graph the equation by connecting the points by a straight line. (phew!!!)
y=-2x+1
(0,?)
If x = 0, y = -2*0+1 = 1
------------------
(-2,?)
If x = -2, y = -2*-2+1 = 5
-------------------
(1,?)
If x=1, y = -2*1+1 = -2+1 = -1

As far as I know this is the best site for getting
free help.
Cheers,
