SOLUTION: Rosita earns $10/hr. If she works more than 40 hrs/wk., she earns 1.5 times her hourly wage for overtime. I think the equation for this question would be s=400+1.5h. Is this right?

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Let c equal the total number of hours
Let x equal # of overtime hours.
C=40%2A10%2Bx%2A%2810%2A1.5%29
As an example Say Rosita worked 51 hours in a week the equation would look like this
C=40%2A10%2B11%2A%2810%2A1.5%29
This will work if you already know the total number of hours. Just subtract 40 from the total hours to find the hours of overtime.
