Question 126712: the time(T) required to perform a some distance by car is inversely proportionnal to the velocity(V). knowing that a some distance has been covered in 6 hours has an average speed of 90 km\h, how fast would it take to make this ride same journey in 5 hours

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
the time(T) required to perform a some distance by car is inversely proportionnal to the velocity(V). knowing that a some distance has been covered in 6 hours has an average speed of 90 km\h, how fast would it take to make this ride same journey in 5 hours
----------------
T =k/V
Need to find "k":
6 = k/90
k = 540
------------
Equation for your problem:
T = 540/V
----------
If the ride takes 5 hours you get:
5 = 540/V
V = 540/5
V = 108 km/h
