You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The area of a square is given by the length of a side squared (A=s%5E2 square units), but since a square is a two-dimensional figure, it has no volume.

A cylinder (right circular, I will presume) has two different surface area calculations depending on whether you want the total area or only the lateral area.
Lateral surface area: A%5BL%5D=2%2Api%2Arh square units

Total surface area: A%5BT%5D=A%5BL%5D%2B2%2Api%2Ar%5E2 square units. Can also be written as A%5BT%5D=2%2Api%2Ar%28h%2Br%29

The volume of a right circular cylinder is V=pi%2Ar%5E2h cubic units

P.S. If you actually meant 'cube' instead of 'square' in your question, I'm going to make you write back and say so.
