A quadrilateral is any 4-sided figure. Trapezoids, parallelograms, rhombi, rectangles, and squares are all special cases of a quadrilateral. But it doesn't matter what the individual interior angles are, they always add up to 360 degrees.

In fact, any polygon has a sum of interior angles equal to 180%28n-2%29 where n is the number of sides. For a quadrilateral, n = 4, so 180%282%29=360.
