You can put this solution on YOUR website!
I came up with this idea:
You can always know what exactly reminder is.
This is a game:
You ask a person A to think about any number, then you say that a person B gives him/her the same number. A person A need to add these numbers. Then you say to a person A:"I will give you 44." (for example, it could be any number). A Person A should add that number to the sum of previous two numbers.
After the person A got a sum of all three numbers, you ask him/her to throw away half of it, and to give back to person B what he/she gave to a person A. Then you say to a person A that he/she has reminder 22.
If you look closely to this example, you will see that you gave a person A 44 and reminder is half of it.
Acctualy, reminder is always half of what you give to a person A.
or
if a person A thinks about number x, we will have:
x.......... a number that person A thinks about
x.......... also a number that person B gives to a person A
44..........you gave to a person A
a person A add them all:
x%2Bx%2B44
2x%2B44
then throw away 1%2F2 of it, and we will have
x%2B22
give back what person Bgave
22...........reminder
As you can see, it is NOT important what number a person A is thinking about; only important thing is what you gave and reminder will always be half of it.
