FIRST WE MULTIPLY THE SECOND EQUATION BY (-2) & ADD.
-2X+4Y=14
5X-4Y=-5
-------------------
3X=9
X=9/3
X=3 ANSWER.
5*3-4Y=-5
15-4Y=-5
-4Y=-5-15
-4Y=-20
Y=-20/-4
Y=5 ANSWER.
PROOF:
3-2*5=-7
3-10=-7
-7=-7
