Question 125660: Segmnet MN has midpoint P. If M has coordinates (5, -2)and P has coordinates (4, 2.5), what are the coordinates of N? Answer by benni1013(206) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! The midpoint is the halfway point on a line. Point M (5, -2) and Midpoint P (4,2.5). The change in x and y pairs will tell you your other endpoint. The change in x coordinates is -1 and the change in y coordinates is 4.5. Add the these on to get the anser of (3, 8)
