SURFACE AREA OF A CUBE=6X^2 WHERE X IS THE LENGTH OF THE SIDE.

The surface area of one face of the cube is the length of an edge squared, or e%5E2. There are 6 equal-sized faces on a cube, so the total surface area is A%5Bc%5D=6e%5E2 where e is the length of one edge.
