You can
put this solution on YOUR website!
This is a parabola, that opens upward.
The x-intercept (where y=0), is at
0= (x+2)(x+4)
x = -2, x= -4.
Y-intercept is where x=0.
Line of symmetry is always halfway between the intercepts, which would be halfway between x=-2 and x= -4. Line of symmetry is the line x= -3.
