You can put this solution on YOUR website! Hi,
You are certainly correct in that 25/165 = 0.(15) but are you sure that's the simplest fraction?
Fractions are in their simplest form when the numerator(top) and denominator(bottom) have no common factors. Do 25 and 165 have any common factors?
Well 25 = 5*5, and 165 = 3*5*11. Any numbers in common?
So by cancelling the 5s we get 5/33 as the simplest fraction.
