You can  put this solution on YOUR website! In five hours, A will have driven 40mph * 5hours = 200 miles, plus the additional 30 mile head start, so A will have travelled a total of 230 miles.  B must cover this same distance in 5 hours, so B's speed must be 230 miles/5 hours or 46 mph.
