Answer:

b%5E2-3b%2B2+=+0
This can be written as,

%28b-2%29%28b-1%29+=+0


==> either (b-2) =0 or (b-1) = 0


That is ,

(b-2) = 0
==> b = 2

and, (b-1) = 0

==> b = 1



That is the solution is, either, b=1 or b=2
