: I have been trying to figure out the answer for 6(5g + 2) = 30g
I used the distributive property and i came up with 30g + 12 = 30g
then i think you are supposed to subtract 30g from each side which would be 12=30g
and that is as far as i know i tried dividing 12 into 30g but im not sure if that is the right thing to do.
Please help me with this problem
thank you

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
IF 6(5g + 2) = 30g then you are correct 30g+12=30g then if you subtract 30g from each side then then (look here) 12=0 then you don't have any solution.
Are you sure the equation is 6(5g + 2) = 30g ??
