y=3x+5
y=4x-1
Replace the second equation into the first one. Instead of y is going to be
4x-1.
4x-1=3x+5 Move the x to the left side of the equal number and change the sign.
4x-3x=5+1 Move 1 to the right side of the equal and change the sign.
x=6 Do the opeartions. Replace the value of x into the equation.
y=4x-1 so y=(4x6)-1=23 so x=6 and y=23 is the solution.
