Question 123014: This question is from the book Hutchison, D., Bergman, B., Baratto, S., & Hoelzle, L. (2005). Beginning algebra (6th ed.). New
York: McGraw-Hill
I thought I had graphing down okay but this one is very confusing for me for some reason. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
The question is asking to graph the function (that is where I get confused)
f(x)= -2x - 5
Answer by stanbon(75887) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! graph the function
f(x)= -2x - 5
-------------
Plot two points and draw a line thru them:
If x = 0, y = -5
If x = 1, y = -7
-------------------
That gives you points (0,-5), (1,-7)
