Rewrite the equation -3x+4y=11 as a function of x.
Any explanation of how to accomplish this would be so helpful. The textbook just isn't making sense to me. Thanks! Answer by stanbon(75887) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! Rewrite the equation -3x+4y=11 as a function of x.
-----------
Solve the equation for y, as follows:
4y=3x+11
y = (3/4)x + (11/4)
-------------------------
Now y is expressed as a function of x.
