Question 122781: the height of a baseball that is thrown from ground level with an initial velocity of 84 ft/sec. can be modeled by h= (-16t)^2+84t. use this model to find the height of the ball after 3.8 seconds.
can you tell me if this is correct?
my calculation are:
h= -16(3.8)^2+84(3.8)
= -231.04+319.2
= 88.16
