Here, let OP be the original price, let D be the discounted price, and p+=+%28x%2F100%29%2AOP ….(the percentage. "Percent" means "per 100" ; 75% really means 75/100)
Set up the equation
+D+=+%28x%2F100%29%2AO+
OP+=+D+%2F%28x%2F100%29+
Example :
D=+30+
x+=+25
then
$+30++=+%2825%2F100%29%2AOP+
OP+=+30%2F%2825%2F100%29+
OP+=+30%2F%280.25%29+
OP+=+120$
