Question 12194: Simplify : 2(10m-10k)+ 5(14m-3k)
Answer by elima(1433) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! 2(10m-10k)+ 5(14m-3k)
You would first distribute the 2(10m-10k)=20m-20k; then the other equation distribute, 70m-15k;
Now you have (20m-20k)+(70m-15k), remove the parenthesis;
20m-20k+70m-15k; add like terms; 20m+70m-20k-15k=90m-35k;
Now factor out the common factor in both numbers=5;
So you end up with: 5(18m-7k)
DONE!YAH
