n^2-12n+32=0
(n-4)(n-8)=0
n = 4 or n=8

subtract 16+%2B+12n from both sides
n%5E2+-+12n+%2B+32+=+0
I notice that -4%2A-8+=+32 and -4+-8+=+-12,
so my factors are:
%28n+-+4%29%28n+-+8%29
This is true if either n+=+4 or n+=+8
