You can put this solution on YOUR website! (1/2 x) - 2 = (1/3(x-2))
(1-4x)/2x = 1/(3x-6)
Cross-multiply to get:
(1-4x)(3x-6) = 2x
3x-6-12x^2+24x = 2x
12x^2-25x+6 = 0
x = [25 +- sqrt(625-4*12*6)]/24
x = [25 +- sqrt(337)]/24
x = [25 +- 18.3576]/24
x = 1.8066 or x = 0.2768

You can put this solution on YOUR website! (1/2x)-2=1/3(x-2) combine the left hand terms:
(1-2*2x)/2x=1/(3x-6)
(1-4x)/2x=1/(3x-6) now cross multiply.
2x=(1-4x)(3x-6)
2x=3x-12x^2-6+24x
2x=-12x^2+12x-6
-12x^2+12x-2x-6=0
12x^2-10x+6=0
2(6x^2-5x+3)=0
using the quadratic equation: 
x=(5+-sqrt[-562-4*6*3])/2*6
x=(5+-sqrt[25-72])/12
x=(5+-sqrt-47])/12
x=(5+-6.86i)/12
x=(5+6.86i)/12
x=5/12+-6.86/12
x=.417+-.57i answer.
