The equation V= -3000t + 22,000 describes the value in dollars of a certain model of car after it is t years old. If a car is worth $13,000 substitute 13,000 into the equation to find the age of the car. Show equation and solve.

You can put this solution on YOUR website! all you need to do is plug 13,000 in vor v and solve for t.
13,000 = -3000t + 22,000 --> subtract 22,000 from both sides
-9,000 = -300t --> divide both sides by -300
30 = t
so the car is 30 years old.
