Question 121275: I think this problem has to do with graphs, its a string problem.
A string is stretched from corner to corner on a floor tiled with square tiles. If the floor is 28 tiles long and 35 tiles wide, over how many tiles does the string cover? Answer by edjones(8007) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! I put a ruler on a piece of graph paper and noted for every unit of length it covered 2 squares.
My scientific guess is 2*28=56 squares.
Let me know if I'm correct.
