=1/4 * 5

x/7 - 1/2 = (x-11)/2 I assume this is the problem.
14x/7 - 14/2 = 14(x-11)/2
2x-7=7(x-11)
2x-7=7x-77
2x-2x-7+77=7x-2x-77+77
70=5x
5x/5=70/5
x=14
