        As I see from your post,  you have serious problem with the language.

        This phrase/wording  " solve this question "  is not used neither in  English nor in any other human language on the Earth,
        because these words  " solve "  and  " question "  are never used in such combination.

        Only mafia  (in numerous videos)  uses such a jargon.

        If you want your writing to look decent,  don't use this jargon  " solve question ".


(a)  8, 16, . . .  continue to add 8 to the previous number to get the next number until you get more than 50.



(b)  Solve quadratic equation  x^2 + 4x - 5 = 0 to find its roots.

     The simplest way is to factor  (x+5)*(x-1) = 0;  the roots are -5 and 1.

     So, the set  S  is  {-5,1}.



(c)  The set of outcomes is  { T, HT, HHT, HHH }.   

     Here T denote outcome "tail"; H denote outcome "head".

     It is enough to think 1.5 minutes to get it.



(d)  This question relates to Geography.



(e)  This set of x is empty, since if  x < 1,  then  2x-4 < 2*1 - 4 = -2  and can not be greater than or equal to 0 (zero).
