You can put this solution on YOUR website! Domain means the set of all permissible x values. This means essentially, avoid making denominators zero and avoid allowing negatives in square roots, fourth roots, etc. In your case, the denominator cannot be zero, so x cannot equal 3. The domain is the set of all real numbers except 3.
