You can put this solution on YOUR website! the first part of the question |1/3x + 3| = -1 can not be true.
the lines mean the absolute value of 1/3x+3=-1 but since the absolute value is the distance from zero it can not equal a negative number. Therefore the absolute value of 1/3x+3 can not equal -1 because -1 is negative.
Also i don't understand what you need help understanding.
