Given:
1/3|4p - 11| = p + 4

Multiply both sides by 3:
|4p - 11| = 3(p + 4)
|4p-11| = 3p + 12


Two solutions to investigate:
4p-11 = 3p + 12
p=33

4p-11 = -3p-12
7p = -1
p=-1/7

Both solutions check!!
