the probability of picking a face card (A, K, Q or J) = 4 * 4 = 16 / 52 = .307 which we'll round off to .30 for purposes of this problem.

assuming the probability is .30, then he should get a face card approximately .30 * 20 = 6 times out of 20 tries and he should get a face card approximately .30 * 80 = 24 times out of 80 tries.

6 / 20 = .30.
24 / 80 = .30.

the numbers are different but the ratio remains the same.
