lET THEM EACH HVAE X MARBLES

After the game Ahmad lost 1/3 of his marbles to Bernard
Ahmad after the game had x-(1/3)x =2x/3
and Bernard had x+(1/3)x=4x/3

and Joe lost 60 to Bernard.
Joe had x-60
Bernard had (4/3)x+60 =4x/3 +60
If Bernard had 220 marbles then how many did Ahmad have left.
(4/3)x+60=220
4x/3 +60=220
4x/3 =220-60
4x/3 = 160
4x = 160*3
x=
x =120
Each of them had initially 120 marbles
Ahmad had after the game (2/3)x marbles
