(revised/corrected, to fix some typos....)

None younger than 10, and 20 of them 10 or younger, means there are 20 who are 10 years old.

Then 8 older than 10 makes a total of 28.

The 6 that are older than 11 have already been counted, because they are older than 10.

ANSWER: 28
