We use the midpoint formula to solve.
The x coordinate is %28x1%2Bx2%29%2F2 and y coordinate is %28y1%2By2%29%2F2.

=>The x coordinate is 2=%280%2Bx%29%2F2 =>+x=4

From the first endpoint T(0,2) to the midpoint M(2,-7) is 2 units to the right and 9 units down. To get to the other endpoint, go another 2 units to the right and 9 units down:

(2+2,-7-9) = (4,-16)
