You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Graph the following:
y=%283%2F2%29x+-2
to graph it you need two points
easiest way is to find x and y-intercepts

y=%283%2F2%29x+-2...set y=0
0=%283%2F2%29x+-+2
2=%283%2F2%29x+
2%2F%283%2F2%29=x+
x=4%2F3 => x-intercept is at (4%2F3,0)

y=%283%2F2%29x+-+2...set x=0
y=%283%2F2%290+-2
y=-2+ => y-intercept is at (0,-2)

plot these points and draw a line through

You can put this solution on YOUR website!

The given equation is y = (3/2)x - 2
Compare this to y = mx+b

m = 3/2 = slope
b = -2 = y intercept

The y intercept tells us that the point (0,-2) is on the line.
Move 3 units up and 2 units to the right to arrive at (2,1) as another point on this line.
The pattern "up 3, right 2" is from the slope.

Plot the two points (0,-2) and (2,1)
Draw a straight line through them.

GeoGebra and Desmos are two graphing tools I recommend.
