What base of logarithm? To which is the power being applied?

for base b, either you want log%28b%2C%280.2%5E25%29%29 or %28log%28b%2C0.2%29%29%5E25.
They are not the same. Post what you really need.

Or, most unfortunately, some references use the very bad language in which "log of a to the power b" means log%28b%2Ca%29

The  @greenestamps' idea goes in right direction,  but I would turn it inside out.

In my view,  the post should be translated this way :  " evaluate   log%280.2%2C25%29 ".

Then it really may look visually like  " Log of  0.2  Raise To The Power of  25 "
for some visitors unfamiliar with the subject (at the zero level of familiarity).


                In this interpretation,   log%280.2%2C25%29 = -2.         ANSWER
